The 2011 Ashley's Run was awesome. As plans begin for the 2012 Ashley's Run, some clips from 2011 were located and are shared below:

 On March 19, 2011 Macland is hosting a 5K Walk/Run called "Ashley's Run", named for Ashley Collis. Proceeds will go to fund a girl's "open" scholarship for Truett McConnell College. The event starts and finishes at Macland Baptist Church.
Forty volunteers are needed to work the event. Volunteers do not have to be a member of Macland, but members participating would be greatly appreciated. Volunteers would need to be at the church between 6:30-7:00 a.m. on March 19. Race Details: Ashley's Run is a 5 K run/walk. Beautiful scenic out and back course is relatively flat. Starts and finishes at Macland Baptist Church, 3732 Macland Rd. Powder Springs, GA 30127.
Age Groups/ Awards: Overall M & F; Masters M & F; Top male and female in each age group as follows: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over.
Registration: $20 if registered by 3-09-11. Late registration and race day= $25
