Student Life at Macland

Upper Room Logo

The Upper Room: The Upper Room is our place of mid-week worship. It is a place where students can come to be refreshed, re-energized and restored. The purpose behind The Upper Room is having an intimate place where students can join together, wait on the Lord, hear His word and let the Holy Spirit ignite their hearts and send them out to change their world with the Gospel. So come join us every Wednesday at 7:00 in The Upper Room

Dirt Crews: "Disciples In Real Times" is what D.I.R.T. stands for. In other words, if you want to be a real time disciple, you have to get your hands dirty! If we are not willing to get our hands dirty in ministry, are we really worthy to be called followers of Christ? Look for upcoming D.I.R.T Crew events and come get your hands dirty with us!

D-Groups: D-Groups are our small group discipleship groups that meet every Sunday morning at 9:45. The students are participating in Student Life Bible Study which is a curriculum designed to help people know Christ through his word. This study is designed to help today's teens learn how to live life in the BLUR of everyday life.

AWANA 24-7 Ministries: Based on II Timothy 2:15 AWANA's stand for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed". This is by far the most structured and rigorous studies that are students are a part of. Every Sunday night students will participate in bible memorization and a systematic study of a book of the bible, working their way through chapter by chapter. Each student who participates is expected to work diligently on memory verses and to complete the accompanying Awana book lessons for the week.
