At Macland Baptist Church, our purpose is to actively engage every member and every guest in the life of our church.  Only one ministry can adequately accomplish this goal.  That ministry is Sunday Morning Bible Study, more affectionately known as Sunday School.

Sunday School is where believers of all ages can come together to learn about becoming disciples through effective Bible study.  In this ministry, believers will discover their place of service, have an outlet for fellowship, participate in an atmosphere of Christian community, develop deep meaningful relationships with other believers, and more importantly, have an opportunity to be ministered to as we become accountable to one another.

Visitors are encouraged to enter the church at the Welcome Center a glass atrium located between the Sanctuary, Education Building, and Family Life Center. 

Adult Sunday School.  Ages listed are approximate

There are three adult classes that meet in large open areas:

In the Fellowship hall beneath the Sanctuary, on the side side near the kitchen is Ed Murray's Adult 4 Class for ages 51 to 65. This class is accessible to the covered drive around on the large main parking lot.

In the Fellowship hall on the Right side as you come down the stairs from the Atrium is Gene Hice's Adult 5 Class ages 65 and up. 

In the Family Life Center on the Gym floor is Billy Honea's Adult 2 Class for ages 35 to 55.

All other adult classes meet on the main floor either in the Education Building (EB) or the Family Life Center (FLC). 

Meeting in the Family Life Center in the rooms off of the hall that goes all the way around the Gym are:

Rick Pensa's Adult 6 Class for ages 65 and up is in room FLC158/159 just past the restrooms.

Mike Stewart's Adult 1 Class for ages 30 to 50 is in room FLC160/161.

Joe Holcomb's Growing Families Class for ages Married - 34 years old is in room FLC166/167.

Ken Collett's Adult Men Class for ages (26 and up) is in FLC155 past the concession window.

Jeffrey Bettis' College & Career class for ages 18 to 25 is in room FLC154.

Meeting in the brick Education Building that was the old sanctuary just past the baby and preschool classrooms are additional adult classes.

Myra Brown's Singles 2 Class for ages 40 and up is in room EB117.

Jerry Sellers Adult 7 Class for ages 70 and up is in room EB119.

Marc Shepherd's Adult 8 Class for ALL AGES is in room EB118.

Camille Ragsdale's Ladies 2 Class for ages 50 and up is in room EB120.

Natalie Moore's Ladies 1 Class for ages 26 to 59 is in room EB121.

Nursery and Pre-school are on the Main Floor in the Education Building.  There is a special sign-in desk just past the glass windowed nursery rooms.

Infants are in room EB104.

Toddlers are in room EB103.

Two Year olds are in room EB108

Three Year olds are in room EB110.

Four Year olds are in rooms EB115 and EB116B.

Five and Six Year olds are in rooms EB116A.

All Children 1st Grade through 5th Grade meet upstairs in the Education Building.  Use the stairway across the hall from the Men's restroom. 1st and 2nd Grade children need to be signed in by an adult.

All Youth 6th Grade through 12th Grade meet in the Family Life Center.  A special greeting area for Youth is near the Family Life Center entrance.
